Ozleworth Park is an historic estate; its stunning gardens and landscape have been meticulously designed and restored to glory by the Stone Family over the last three decades. The tour will be guided by a senior member of the gardening team.
The magnificent house and church which serve as a focal point for the estate are encircled by a 12-acre formal garden with a variety of ornamental plantings and well-established trees and hedges, which provide a lush and picturesque backdrop to the estate. These elements create a sense of grandeur and timelessness. The walled garden boasts stunning long herbaceous borders leading up to a Victorian plunge pool surrounded by an orchard and seasonal vegetable plot. Adjacent to the period-style greenhouses is the formal rose garden: here, the tall walls of the garden act as a striking backdrop to a majestic wisteria that blooms in a riot of colours. The combination of roses and wisteria creates a truly enchanting setting. The journey continues through hedge-lined walks to cascading lily ponds adorned with statues overlooking a newly restored cricket pitch and pavilion in the park. Throughout your tour, you will be surrounded by the idyllic Cotswold countryside, adding to the charm and serenity of Ozleworth Park.
