Balinese paradise leads auction lots at Party for Perennial 2017

As the turn of the year heralds new beginnings for us all, Perennial is looking forward to its annual Party for Perennial which this year is being held at The Barbican on 19 January and will be hosted by James Alexander-Sinclair.

Seen by many horticulture businesses as an important networking opportunity early in the year, the Party for Perennial has established itself as a highlight in the industry calendar. Tickets to the event cost £55 each (£100 for a pair) and are now available.

The 2016 Party raised over £30,000 for Perennial, the only charity in the UK dedicated to helping all horticulturists and their families in times of crisis including all those who work in arboriculture. The popular auction and raffle, which will again be presided over by Andrew Fisher-Tomlin, promises to provide guests with plenty to look forward to and it’s hoped that donations on the night can once again top last year’s total.

05bLeading the auction lots is an incredible 7 night stay for two in a private deluxe villa with private pool on the Indonesian island of Bali. The stay at Aleesha Villas includes breakfast, freshly prepared and served daily in your villa, as well as numerous trips and visits to take in the surrounding towns, markets and historic sites.

ferrariAnd for the adrenaline junkies in the room, we have an unforgettable experience of high-speed action with a triple supercar day (a self-drive experience and passenger ride) and a high-altitude helicopter ride for two.

Chris Crooker, Events Manager at Perennial says:

“As in previous years, there will be something for everyone on offer in our auction and raffle – we have a luxury exotic holiday as well as weekend breaks, meals for two and several horticultural themed prizes. Last year our auction alone raised over £10,000 so we have high hopes for 2017!”

The 2017 event is sponsored by CED Stone Group, Bulldog Tools, the HTA, Bulrush, The Landscape Show and Sodexo Horticultural Services, and is supported by media partner Horticulture Week. For the full list of auction and raffle prizes, visit the Party for Perennial event page here.

All funds raised at the Party for Perennial will help the charity support all UK horticulturists, retired and of working age, and their families, who come to Perennial for help.  As the only charity that helps individuals from all sectors of the horticulture industry, Perennial’s services are a real lifeline for those in need.
