Begin the day with refreshments and a tour of the garden at Alwalton Manor House. Overlooking the River Nene water meadow, the garden’s series of garden rooms use yew, beech and box particularly well.
Lunch will be nearby at The Paper Mills.
In the afternoon you will visit Castor House, this elegantly laid out garden features many distinct areas, all beautifully appointed and detailed. The hot flower borders will be at their peak in mid September. Ornamental woodland, planted in the mid 19th century, frames this 8 acres garden.
Tea, Coffee and Cake will be served at the end of the day.
