Hall Farm & Brightwater Gardens – SOLD OUT
We start our day at Hall Farm, where we will be joined by owner and passionate plantswoman Pam Tatam. The formal and informal areas make this a truly eclectic garden with something different around every corner.
The three-acre garden includes stunning mixed borders, a sunken garden, pond and an intimate walled garden. From the bottom of the garden, we will follow the path to the medieval moat which is being turned into a wild garden.
We will then make the short journey to Brightwater Gardens for a light lunch before we explore the series of formal and naturalistic garden rooms within this eight-acre estate.
Owners Chris Neave and Jonathan Cartwright have developed the gardens in relation to the house and surrounding landscape. The formal garden rooms are planted with peonies, shrub roses, herbaceous perennials and seasonally planted pots. There is also a lavender walk which will be in full bloom.
The contrasting naturalistic gardens with a viewing deck, planted with rare trees overlooking a small lake and grass paths leading through prairie borders and areas of wildflowers make this garden a must see.
