About

On this visit to The Bath Priory, Head Gardener Jane Moore will bring her trademark passion, enthusiasm and experience of the hotel’s four acres of walled gardens, exploring the abundant late summer borders filled with vibrant perennials and autumnal interest shrubs and trees. Every season is a celebration of colour in this beautifully maintained garden.

Hydrangea and Cotinus vie for attention with asters and Persicaria, while the kitchen garden is over flowing with produce at harvest time. After perusing the gardens, guests will enjoy access to the historic Bath Priory Hotel, built in 1835 as a private residence until 1969, when the house was bought and converted into a seven bedroom hotel. The following 25 years saw The Bath Priory prosper as a hotel and in September 1994 it was the first hotel purchased by the Brownsword family. Since then, their hotel group has received many awards including AA hotel group of the year in 2017.
