The garden of this mid-17th century Manor House was principally created by landscape architect, Robert Adams and later advised by plantsman and designer Sean Walter. Stroll with Head Gardener Mark Thompson past the walled garden, croquet lawn, ornamental ponds, herbaceous borders and sculpture garden. Also access the Lyde Garden where the River Lyde rises.

Allington Castle has stood on the banks of the river Medway since the 1170s. The estate is a haven of manicured lawns, formal beds, shrubberies, woodlands, semi-wild grasslands and ponds/lake. Head Gardener Adrian Waters will guide you through the gardens of this fairy tale castle with its imposing gatehouse and drum towers surrounded by a moat.

This secret garden has been beautifully designed by Arne Maynard. Join Head Gardener Benjamin Pope for a tour through its formal and informal spaces woven together by topiary, hedges, ancient trees and old buildings. Border plants rub shoulders with roses and annuals and at the garden’s heart is a walled kitchen garden bursting with inspiration.
