A new event has been announced for the garden centre retail industry and Perennial has confirmed its attendance. FutureLines will take place on 2 March 2016 at Sandown Racecourse near Esher in Surrey. Organised by Eljays44 in partnership with Garden Centre Retail Magazine, the event brings together brands and products from across the industry at a crucial time in the calendar for buyers. The one-day event also features a packed programme of seminars and speakers including Andy McIndoe (former Director of Hillier Nurseries), Tim Greenway (co-owner Highfield Garden World) and Mark Farnsworth (MD, Tong Garden Centre).
Laura Garnett, Development Manager at Perennial, said;
“We are keen to forge closer links with UK garden centres and the companies that supply them to raise awareness of our work and the services Perennial offers all those working in or retired from horticulture. We also work in tandem with benevolent organisations that look after the retail and hospitality sectors and so can refer people not directly working in horticulture who are in need of help and advice. We are looking forward to meeting colleagues old and new and are pleased to be supporting this new event in the trade calendar.”
FutureLines is designed to bring the industry together by echoing the content of Garden Centre Retail magazine. Organisers promise a day of unique networking opportunities as well as cutting edge advice to help garden centre managers grow their business and increase profits.
Eljays44 MD and publisher of Garden Centre Retail magazine, Jim Wilkinson, said;
“We understand how important time is in business, and FutureLines is geared around making every minute count. Garden retail is a fantastic, vibrant sector, and this is going to be reflected on the day. We really look forward to you joining us.”
