About Perennial
How we help
We are the UK's only charity supporting people facing challenges in horticulture, whether working or retired. We are committed to providing free, tailored one-to-one support and advice when it is needed. Everyone can access the free advice and information available 24/7 online; covering topics such as the impact of health issues, bereavement, redundancy, family breakdowns and career progression, as well as impartial money management and health & wellbeing tools.
By offering the right information and support at the time it is needed, we aim to help build better lives for all those within the horticultural industry – as we have done for over 185 years.

The Glasshouse Collective and Mark Gregory
Perennial are delighted to be working with The Glasshouse Collective and Mark Gregory, renowned garden designer, landscaper, horticulturist, Managing Director of Landform Consultants and the charity’s first ambassador. It is with the support of people like Mark that we can raise the profile of Perennial as the charity for everyone in horticulture, reach more people when they need our services and raise vital income.
Ways we help
We help all those who are retired from or currently working in horticulture through our free and confidential helpline and support services.

Our work depends on you. It’s only with your help and generosity that we’re able to stop small problems becoming life-changing crises.
Get in touch
We’re here to listen, understand and help, so if you want to talk something through for yourself, a family member or friend, get in touch.
Please note we require proof of working in horticulture such as payslips, self employed tax return etc. If you don't have this, not to worry, we can help you to obtain verification.
