Corporate Partnership Manager

We believe that no horticulturist should be denied help simply because they are not aware of Perennial. We are committed to a future in which every horticulturist in the UK is aware of us, understands what help they can receive from us, and is confident to get in touch should they need our help. To help us achieve our vision we need more people to know about Perennial so forging links and partnerships with horticulture industry companies is a focus area of growth for us in 2019.

We are looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic corporate fundraiser or sales person to join our passionate team. In this role you will develop and grow the number of companies who become corporate partners who will support us through donations, fundraising events and ensuring their staff and others in the area know about us so they can benefit from the services we offer.

Community Fundraising Manager

This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and enthusiastic community fundraiser to join our passionate team. In this role you will develop and grow a formal network of volunteer groups to help raise money and support Perennial. You will be a proactive member of the team, initially working with Perennial’s existing volunteer groups to develop our support materials, processes and training to manage groups and individuals effectively and encourage greater support. You will also be responsible for recruiting new volunteer groups and inspiring other community groups to support Perennial.

Events Assistant

This exciting role will see you working on many diverse projects from sporting events and garden tours to parties and formal dinners. We need someone to join our passionate team who is focussed on great customer service and stewardship and whose excellent skills in organisation and time management to ensure the smooth running and timely delivery of the full programme.

Trustee

We have a diverse and dynamic board of eleven Trustees which we want to strengthen with the recruitment of two Trustees with experience of working in fields that relate to our charitable service – advice, client support or training and education. Experience of the charity sector would also be an advantage.

The role involves attendance at our quarterly Board meetings and an annual awayday as well as participation on one of our Board sub-committees which also meet quarterly. We are a UK-wide operation with our head office based in Leatherhead, Surrey. Most of our Trustee meetings are held in London, some are held in Leatherhead and occasionally we hold meetings at one of our gardens which are in Adel, just north of Leeds and West Stow, near Bury St Edmunds.

Volunteers: York Gate Garden Tea Room

York Gate Garden relies on the help of its team of volunteers when the garden is open to visitors. We are currently looking for help in the busy and popular tea room, particularly on Sundays.

This is a sociable role working with a very friendly team and involves a lot of face-to-face contact with visitors to the garden. It is ideal for those that enjoy gardens and want to give something back by supporting York Gate Garden and helping generate income for Perennial, the trade charity that looks after all horticulturists.
