Perennial launches new virtual gift range

Perennial, the charity helping people working in or retired from horticulture, has a colourful new range of donation cards available online and in the York Gate and Fullers Mill Garden gift shops.

'Gifts that Make a Difference' is a charity donation gift scheme supporting our work across the UK. The six new additions to the collection follow on from the success of our annual Christmas designs, through which our generous supporters raise thousands of pounds each year towards keeping our vital services running. The new designs can be given to someone special as a meaningful way to mark a birthday, anniversary, retirement or other celebration all year round while supporting Perennial.

Cards are available at a range of price points, each highlighting how your donation can make a difference:

• £10 can help a career bloom, supporting apprentices and trainees in horticulture
• £20 can support our Helpline, enabling Perennial to be there when someone is struggling with financial, physical or life-changing challenges
• £30 could help to fund specialist support for someone struggling to work due to joint or back pain, helping them to get back on their feet.

Perennial will use your donation to provide life-changing support to horticulturists and their families.

Each A6 donation card features a beautiful full-colour photograph kindly provided by Perennial supporter Peter Young, focusing on the intricate details of the plants and flowers growing in his Yorkshire garden. These include the popular passionflower Passiflora caerulea as well as more unusual species such as Paeonia daurica subsp. mlokosewitschii and Tulipa 'Spring Green'.
