Botanical Illustration Course with Reinhild Raistrick at Fullers Mill Garden

Monday 28 to Tuesday 29 January 2019, 10am – 4pm

Illustrating Snowdrops

Wrap up warmly and join us in a unique garden to welcome these early harbingers of spring.

A two-day course will give you the opportunity to study these fragile and beautiful flowers in fine detail. Time will be spent looking at some of the Galanthus collection in situ then you will be working with potted specimens in the warmth and comfort of the Bothy while being able to admire views of the winter garden. You will examine the botanical differences between species and learn how to create an accurate drawing and pleasing composition with Reinhild guiding you and demonstrating how to use shading to capture the subtleties of white flowers on white paper in watercolour.

This course is suitable for artists of all levels.
An equipment and materials list to follow on booking.

Pre-booking is required. Call the Fullers Mill Garden office on 01284 728 888 or email Anne Valentine.
