Join an exclusive visit to the private gardens of Encombe House and Estate, opening specially for Perennial guests.

Hidden within a spectacular valley in the Purbeck Hills, this historic estate has been extensively redeveloped since 2009, with a modern and sympathetic garden design by Tom Stuart-Smith.

During this exclusive Perennial visit, guests will be guided by Head Gardener Simon Hansford, gaining expert insight into the garden’s design, planting and ongoing development.

Explore sweeping borders filled with grasses and perennials, the Temple garden, walled garden, young orchard and yew-hedged garden centred around a millstone fountain.

Beyond the main garden, woodland walks, wildflower meadows, lakes, kitchen garden, glasshouses and wilder areas offer glimpses of the Jurassic Coast.

The visit takes place by kind permission of Mr and Mrs J Gaggero, with your ticket purchase helping Perennial support those working in horticulture.

Arrival refreshments will be served in the Garden Pavillion.

Lunch at the Clocktower and afternoon tea in the Temple.
