Whitton Court

Whitton Court is a beautifully restored Grade I-listed Elizabethan and Jacobean manor house, set within approximately 74 acres of parkland and gardens.

Its distinctive red-brick façade was added and embellished in 1621, while parts of the inner courtyard date back to around 1140. Garden designer Arne Maynard has created the enclosed courtyard garden and prepared ambitious plans for the wider landscape, with the first phase expected within eighteen months of summer 2026. 

The gardens currently include formal courtyard planting, terraced lawns descending south towards the Teme Valley, a woodland garden, and productive kitchen and cut-flower gardens with an antique glasshouse. Visitors have a rare opportunity to experience an exceptional garden at a formative stage in its development with a private tour with the owner. With considerable potential and a compelling historic setting, Whitton Court promises to become a fascinating, horticulturally significant long-term project as its gardens evolve in the years ahead.
