Howy White

As well as working for an industry supplier, Howy’s photography business is a long term Perennial partner and he also supports Perennial by posting mug shots (literally, pictures of the Perennial mugs) in all sorts of unusual places! More recently, he has had the pleasure of photographing the Naked Gardener Calendar.

How did you first hear about Perennial?

I bumped into a lovely lady from Perennial at a social gathering, she asked me what I knew about the charity and I told her not a lot. Time was pressing and I promised to call her and find out more, three days later and two hours on the phone to her, I signed up as a partner. You could say that her message really hit home, our industry’s charity.

Of all of the services Perennial provides, what do you feel is the most important?

There’s so many, the support Perennial gives is outstanding, but what really stands out is the health and wellbeing this year, just being there to help and support…helping with money advice, financial support when it is needed, it’s a huge help and a weight off people’s minds.

What makes you support us ?

Over the thirty years I have been at CED Natural Stone, I’ve seen a few customers struggling. It would have been great to slide a Perennial Contact Card across the counter quietly, well now our staff do.

I guess if we can help just one person, then it's all worthwhile.

 On a personal note, I have met the most awesome people thanks to Perennial and I get to call them friends, it is a great gang to be part of.
