Volunteer with us
Volunteers help run all of the Perennial gardens by offering their time, passion, support and skills. Our volunteers help maintain the gardens, welcome visitors and groups and promote the work of Perennial.
The garden was created by the late Bernard Tickner MBE (1924 - 2017). He moved to Fullers Mill in 1958 and spent over 50 years creating the garden you see today from rough scrub and woodland. In 2013, for its long term preservation, the garden was generously gifted to Perennial, the garden staff and team of volunteers help to maintain is as a wonderful visitor attraction.
If you have a few hours to spare each week and want to join our fabulous community of volunteers, we’d love to hear from you. Our current volunteering opportunities are detailed below. Please get in touch to find out more and we’ll be happy to answer any questions. If the roles below aren’t quite what you’re looking for, call us for a chat to register your interest.
