Have an old mobile phone gathering dust in a drawer? Not sure what to do with all the used inkjet cartridges discarded by your printer? Got an old banger gathering rust on the driveway?
Recycle your unwanted items and raise money for Perennial.
Perennial has teamed up with Charity Car, part of CarTakeBack, the UK’s largest car recycling network.
Donating your car with Charity Car is easy and doesn’t cost a penny. If you have a scrap or used car to get rid of, they can help you do so and raise money for Perennial. If your car is ready to scrap, it will be responsibly recycled and Perennial will receive 100% of the car’s scrap value. And, if there’s enough life left in your old car, they’ll raise the maximum donation value by auctioning it.
Recycle your empty inkjet cartridges to help protect the environment and raise money for charity. It’s so easy.
All you have to do is register with Recycle4Charity. You will receive freepost recycling bags and can send back up to 5 cartridges at a time or desktop recycling boxes for larger volumes.
The Recycle4Charity website will also tell you which cartridges they are looking for.
Recycle your old mobile phones to protect the environment and raise money for charity. It’s easy and even if your phone is broken, faulty or locked it still has a value. Just register with Recycle4Charity to start the process.
Note: due to Royal Mail policy changes, it is no longer possible to send Recycle4Charity a mobile phone using a Freepost bag – you will need to use a collection box.
If you’ve got any odd earrings, broken chains, or even something more valuable that you’ve no longer got a use for, you can put them to good use for Perennial.
Recycling for Good Causes will take the following:
- Costume Jewellery
- Old UK banknotes
- Foreign Banknotes
To make a donation, wrap your item(s) securely in an appropriate envelope/jiffy bag/parcel, and send it to:
Perennial – Gardeners’ Royal Benevolent Society
You can now also donate your used stamps via Recycling for Good Causes to raise much needed funds for Perennial. All kinds of stamps are welcome, on or off paper.
Simply cut or carefully rip the postage stamp from the used envelope, being careful that you don’t damage the stamp, and once you have a collection pop them in an envelope making sure you have the correct postage to:
PO Box 16992
(*postage needs to be applied*)
