This year Perennial launched its flagship fundraising month – Marathon May. Our hope is that this time every year the industry will come together and undertake significant challenges in support of those in horticulture who themselves are facing significant challenges.
An intrepid team from the Leatherhead office kick started the initiative with a 26.6 mile (that’s 65,552 steps) walking marathon through the Surrey Downs and taking in the three peaks of Surrey – Box, Holmbury and Leith Hills.
To date we have raised £1,200 which will go directly to providing help and support to those working with plants, trees, flowers or grass.
