Perennial, the charity helping people in horticulture would like to thank all those who contributed to Party for Perennial that took place in March at the EV restaurant near London’s Southbank.

Over 50 pledges to Perennial were also made at the Party by guests. Among pledges to donate auction prizes and attend Perennial’s Festival Dinner in October. Guests pledged to take on a sky dive, a wing walk, the three peaks challenge and abseil down the ArcelorMittal Orbit.

Anita Bates, Perennial’s Director of Marketing and Fundraising says: “We were thrilled to see so many people from a wide range of sectors in the horticulture industry at our Party for Perennial 2022. It’s always a fun evening of networking with old and new faces. This year was particularly special as we’ve spent so long apart. We’d like to say a huge thank you to all our guests and raffle contributors for helping us to raise such a fantastic sum. These funds will make a real difference to the lives of the people we help.”

The fun networking event for the horticulture trade raises both awareness and support for people in horticulture and their families who come to Perennial for help.

Garden Designer, Amanda Lorenzani commented on social media: “Such a lovely charity event, raising funds for those struggling in the horticulture industry. What a fun night! Expertly organised, beautifully executed, a great crowd and a very worthy cause.”

As the only charity that helps individuals working in and retired from all sectors of the horticulture industry, Perennial is a lifeline for people that have nowhere else to turn.
