Corpusty Mill Garden, in north Norfolk has slowly evolved over a 60 year period. Begun by brothers John and Roger Last, from what were empty water meadows beside the River Bure. There are now 5 acres of intimate and intriguing gardens, all of which they designed, built and planted. For the past thirty years by Roger alone.
Water features everywhere, in rivers, streams, and ponds. There are surprises and the unexpected, follies, including a dark and mysterious grotto, humour, rich planting and a wealth of ideas in what is a truly imaginative and rewarding garden. Split into three distinct parts each with a character of its own, the garden is rarely open and this, with a guided tour by Roger, is an opportunity not to be missed.
