Visitors will enjoy a plethora of snowdrop varieties including Galanthus ‘S. Arnott’, the elegant Galanthus ‘Wasp’, the yellow flowering Galanthus ‘Wendy’s Gold’ and the traditional Galanthus ‘Nivalis’.

Head Gardener, Ben Preston will be doing a virtual tour of the garden explaining the many wonders of snowdrops as well as sharing the garden’s amazing winter structure, from tightly clipped topiary to the timeless hard landscaping.

In addition, Senior Gardener, Jack Ogg will be doing a short video on the art of Kokedama (Japanese hanging Moss balls) that have become a regular feature during Snowdrop Week, a quirky and interesting addition to give added appeal to any garden.

York Gate’s Head Gardener, Ben Preston, comments: “Snowdrop season is the start of the floral calendar and what a great year of gardening we have ahead of us. Although we can’t open the gardens this year, we will be sharing all the winter wonders of York Gate and our ever-growing snowdrop collection.
