Now in its fourth year, Plants for Perennial continues to flourish, bringing together some of the UK’s leading wholesale nurseries to grow and supply beautiful, garden-worthy plants that directly support those working in horticulture.

Joining the initiative this year is Frank P Matthews, alongside long-standing contributors Allensmore Nurseries, The Bransford Webb Plant Company, New Leaf Plants and Wyevale Nurseries. Based across Herefordshire and Worcestershire, these specialist growers are not only producing exceptional plants but also helping to make a real difference.

Together, they have already raised more than £45,000 for Perennial through plant sales, an inspiring achievement that continues to grow year on year.

At the heart of the initiative is a carefully curated collection of vibrant, fragrant and wildlife-friendly plants, bred and grown by these expert nurseries.

New additions for 2026 promise even more choice and impact. The striking crab apple tree Malus ‘Julia’ will be launched to the trade at the National Plant Show in June, while Wyevale Nurseries will introduce Hydrangea ‘Cherry Explosion’ and Miscanthus ‘Lady in Red’ to the range.

Each plant in the collection represents the skill and dedication of the UK’s wholesale growers, and every purchase helps support Perennial’s vital work for people in horticulture facing difficult times.

Look out for Plants for Perennial in your local garden centre and selected Waitrose stores across the UK this summer and be part of something positive, buy a plant, support the growers behind it, and help care for the people who care for our gardens, parks and green spaces.
