Behind the Blooms in Yorkshire
A night's stay including Bed & Breakfast at Goldsborough Hall, a stunning 16th-century historic house in North Yorkshire, former home of Princess Mary, offering five-star luxury accommodation, 3 AA rosette dining, award-winning gardens and private weddings. The Hall stands in beautifully landscaped grounds with unspoilt views over tranquil parkland, making it one of the most exclusive and beautiful places to stay in the UK. Enjoy a private tour of the gardens given by the Head Gardener who will take you around the estate where you will see many highlights including the herbaceous borders planned by Princess Mary who was in residence at Goldsborough Hall in the 1920s, the balustrade border which features the beautiful Rose 'Yorkshire Princess' and the historic Lime Tree walk planted by members of the Royal family. You will also enjoy a special 'behind the scenes' look at the stunning glasshouse and working kitchen garden.
The second part of this package is a tour of Perennial's very own York Gate with Head Gardener Jack Ogg. Be prepared to be blown away by the wonderful planting and stunning scenery. One of Jack's favourite spots in the garden is the succulent house where you can view a collection of true cacti and other succulents. After a tour with Jack (approximately one hour) you will visit the cafe where you will enjoy a light lunch for two.
