At Biddulph Old Hall in Staffordshire, a 16th-century mansion normally closed to the public, you’ll enjoy arrival refreshments before owner Brian gives a personal tour. He will share the hall’s extraordinary history, its award-winning restoration, and the romantic gardens - including the secluded White Garden, knot garden and reflective pool. A light lunch precedes a guided walk through the Clough, following Robert Bateman’s historic path.

On a separate visit, discover Ichi-Coo Park in Surrey. After refreshments, owner Robin will lead a private tour of sweeping parkland, rare botanic collections and themed landscapes, from Japanese cherry groves to oak-lined avenues.
