Physiotherapy

The most important tools of your trade are your body and mind, but we know that the physical demands of the job can mean keeping yourself fit and healthy for work is a constant challenge.

Perennial has an occupational health physiotherapy service that guides you through the complex process of recovering from pain and injury, helping you build a strong and resilient body.

What is Occupational Health Physiotherapy?

Occupational Health Physiotherapy involves assessing, advising on, management and treating Musculoskeletal injuries and conditions that affect your ability to carry out your work.

OH Physiotherapists work closely with you to help prevent injuries, improve your physical condition and, in turn, your overall quality of your work-life. This is achieved by creating tailored exercise programs to enhance your physical health and performance at work.

What can it help with?

The service can provide effective strategies for the management of a number of musculoskeletal conditions including:

  • Neck and back pain
  • Hip, knee, ankle and foot pain
  • Shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand pain
  • Tendon or ligament problems
  • Muscular strains
  • Arthritis

How does it help?

Physiotherapy can restore or improve your overall health and wellness, and even prevent injury from occurring or worsening in some cases.

The key is to act as soon as possible as it is proven that early intervention reduces recovery time and could lead to being able to getting back to normal earlier.

What is involved?

Once a referral has been made to our Physiotherapy partner you will be contacted to arrange a comprehensive, remote initial consultation appointment with a fully qualified physiotherapist.

From there an individual tailored treatment plan will be created to suit your specific requirements - this maybe delivered remotely or in person. Regular follow up appointments will be made to review progress and provide you with the tools to help you achieve your full physical potential.
