As part of our Perennial Showstopper, enjoy a tour of the garden of restauranteur, broadcaster, cookery writer and novelist, the Great British Bake Off’s very own Prue Leith. The tour will be with Head Gardener Philippa Lillywhite. Inspired by Piet Oudolf, the hot and cool grass beds form a striking tapestry of perennials and grasses, leading the eye towards maturing oaks and the wider landscape.

The courtyard garden features troughs overflowing with herbs, perennials and annuals, framed by a pergola draped in clematis and roses and a striking diamond-patterned pyracantha wall. Specimen trees planted by Prue’s grandchildren are dotted throughout the grounds, a living legacy.

Highlights include a heritage orchard of 100+ fruit and nut trees, a productive fruit cage, and a vibrant cutting patch filled with sunflowers and seasonal blooms. Don’t miss a taste of Prue’s own homemade apple juice.

A recent addition is the tropical-style glasshouse, home to lemon trees, bougainvillea, plumbago and more.

Includes arrival refreshments and a two-course lunch at a nearby eatery.
