Perennial is delighted to offer exclusive access to Wormsley, a 2,700-acre private estate in the Chiltern Hills, dating back to the 12th century. This rare opportunity includes a guided tour of the 18th-century Walled Garden rarely open to the public.
Originally designed around 1780 by Richard Woods, the garden was lovingly restored in the 1980s by renowned designer Penelope Hobhouse in association with Simon Johnson, a seven-year renovation. The two-acre Walled Garden is divided into four distinct rooms, each offering unique planting and character.
Guests will be guided by Wormsley’s Gardens Team and can explore features such as the elegant rose garden, two historic wells, a croquet lawn, dramatic pergola and a charming mini outdoor theatre.
Arrival refreshments and a two-course lunch at a nearby eatery are included.
