Perennial President Alan Titchmarsh awarded CBE

Alan Titchmarsh, Perennial's President for over 20 years, has been made a Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) for services to horticulture and to charity in the New Year Honours list.
Perennial Chief Executive, Jamie Gault, offered his congratulations: “Alan stands as a cornerstone of Perennial’s legacy and his contribution has been significant not only shaping the trajectory of Perennial but also inspiring a profound sense of purpose and solidarity within the horticulture community, making a lasting impact that resonates far and wide.”
Alan’s charity work along with his career spanning six decades as a television presenter, author, horticultural expert all contributed to the recognition of his services. Since becoming Perennial's president in 2004 his support has been unwavering. Most recently he took part in a Q&A session at the charity's 185th Anniversary Fundraising Lunch, sharing his reflections of how vital Perennial's support is to the horticulture industry.
